MICROBE-LIFT Super Start: an organic bead filter and natural pond filter

MICROBE-LIFT Super Start is a special formula for bead filters and other biological filters. Like most bio-mechanical filters, the strength of bead filters lies in the use of a filter medium with a large attachment surface area relative to its volume. This carrier material provides meet biomass in the form of a biofilm to effectively remove organic and inorganic waste from the water.

In this biofilm it is possible to carry out aerobic, facultative anaerobic, anaerobic and chemosynthetic processes.

Microbe-Lift Super Start contains all these bacteria to allow all these processes to be carried out for optimal operation of your (bead) filter.

When used in ponds with UV lamps: it is best to turn them off when using the product until 3 days after treatment.

Microbe-Lift Super Start is available in packs of 1L and 4L.

When Microbe Lift® Super Start is used according to the prescribed dosages it will provide:

  • rapid start-up of filters to break down organic waste
  • rapid breakdown of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate
  • reduces sludge/ sediment build-up in the fillter for easier maintenance and improves filter fieffectiveness by preventing “channeling” of the filter
  • remains effective over a wide range of ph values
  • greatly reduces odors from dead algae, fish waste and urine
  • reduces hydrogen sulfide which gives off a strong, unpleasant odor
When you start up the fillter use Microbe Superstart for 4 weeks. After rinsing the filter use it for 2 weeks. After that you can use Microbe-Lift Clean & Clear for maintenance.
